Description

As Carrier-Marketing & Placement Manager, you are the “secret sauce” of rig’s commercial insurance competitive advantage.

This is the ideal next step for an experienced Carrier-Marketing Specialist or Commercial Account Manager ready to transition away from traditional desk management into marketing and placing Commercial New Business. In this role, you will work directly with our Carrier-Partners to strategically place new policies.

By leveraging your underwriting curiosity and technical expertise, you will create tailored policy solutions that drive the volume and velocity needed to hit rig’s growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Master the Placement Process: Apply your expertise to conduct agency-level pre-underwriting. Build high-quality, complete submissions for Carrier Partners and E&S brokers that position you as a top-tier professional that carrier underwriters love to work with.

 • Drive Deal Velocity: Execute established New Business workflows alongside Business Development staff, Agency Managers, and customers, balancing strict attention to detail with a high sense of urgency.

Deliver Winning Proposals: Create competitively superior customer proposals within fast-paced timelines that outmatch traditional independent agencies.

• Solve Complex Risks: Utilize your problem-solving skills, carrier underwriting resources, and rig’s core value of being “Kinda Curious” to continuously expand your coverage knowledge.

• Collaborate & Educate: Regularly share unique risks, placement wins, and market learnings with colleagues through formal and informal team interactions.

• Translate Value: Clearly document and communicate the "What’s & Why’s" of underwritten proposals, empowering the Business Development staff to maximize sales conversion.
