Description

We are looking for an HR Asset Monitoring Consultant within Transformation Office NL. In this role, you will combine strong investigative skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal, to assess and follow up on signals of potential misuse of HR assets.

The team
Transformation Office NL is responsible for driving and supporting high-impact change initiatives across ING NL. The team operates at the heart of the organization, ensuring that strategic priorities are delivered effectively and in line with regulatory and internal standards.

Within this context, you will operate as a consultant, working closely with HR, Risk and other relevant stakeholders to ensure integrity and proper use of HR-related assets.

Roles and responsibilities
You will act as a consultant on HR asset monitoring, investigating signals of potential misuse end-to-end. You combine analytical rigor with clear communication to assess situations, engage stakeholders and ensure proper follow-up.

  • Conduct investigations into potential misuse of HR assets

  • Review and analyse files, records and datasets to identify discrepancies, irregularities and patterns

  • Engage with employees and (supercircle) leads to gather information and clarify findings

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to determine and execute follow-up actions

  • Prepare clear and concise reports on findings and recommendations

  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information

  • Manage and close cases independently within the first line

  • Bring a structured and analytical mindset to assess complex situations and investigations

  • Apply strong communication skills (written and verbal) to engage stakeholders and present findings clearly

  • Use >5 years of ING experience to navigate stakeholders and organisational context effectively

  • Demonstrate affinity for data management and data analyse to identify patterns and irregularities

  • Show attention to detail and analytical capability to ensure accurate investigations

  • Apply problem-solving skills and a structured way of working to manage cases end-to-end

  • Maintain a high level of integrity and accuracy when working with sensitive information

  • Write clearly and concisely to produce effective reports and recommendations

  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment

  • Preferably bring experience with (HR) fraud monitoring to strengthen investigation quality
