The Project Engineer supports the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring technical requirements are met and facilitating smooth coordination among teams. This role plays a vital part in maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.

Role Summary: 
The Project Engineer supports the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring technical requirements are met and facilitating smooth coordination among teams. This role plays a vital part in maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations. 

Key Outcomes 

• Ensures technical precision in project execution, reducing construction errors and delays. 

• Facilitates effective communication with contractors and internal teams for smooth coordination. 

• Supports adherence to project timelines through proactive planning and technical input. 

• Contributes to the overall efficiency and quality of the company’s construction projects. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Technical Support 

• Review and interpret project drawings and specifications. 

• Provide technical guidance to on-site teams to ensure compliance with plans. 

2. Site Coordination 

• Assist in coordinating daily on-site activities with contractors and suppliers. 

• Monitor progress and report deviations from the project plan. 

3. Quality Assurance 

• Conduct inspections to verify that construction work aligns with technical requirements. 

• Ensure corrective actions are taken for identified defects. 

4. Documentation 

• Maintain accurate records of project progress, technical details, and site activities. 

• Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders as required. 

5. Health & Safety Compliance 

• Enforce adherence to safety regulations on-site. 

• Participate in safety audits and implement recommendations. 

Qualifications & Experience 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. 

• Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and standards. 

Experience 

• Minimum of 3 years in a site-based or engineering consultant-based role. 

• Experience in infrastructure or large-scale development projects

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a site-based or engineering consultant-based role.

• Experience in infrastructure, high-rise or large-scale development projects

• High rise project experience preferred
