AI Solutions Engineer

As an AI Solutions Engineer at Blueshift, you will occupy a unique techno-functional position that bridges the gap between core AI and real-world customer impact. You aren't just writing code; you are applying data engineering, analysis, and AI knowledge to help global brands realize the full potential of AI-driven marketing.

Responsibilities 

• Solution Architecture: Design and implement optimal AI-driven solutions tailored to power strategic marketing initiatives for global customers.
• AI Implementation: Deploy and customize scoring models and recommendation schemes using our industry-leading platform.
• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the full delivery lifecycle of custom projects, from initial customer engagement and design to testing and production implementation.
• Data Troubleshooting: Analyze complex usage and log data to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in AI marketing flows.
• Agentic Productivity: Integrate AI agents (like GitHub Copilot or custom internal agents) into the development lifecycle to accelerate code generation, testing, and debugging.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the AI Infrastructure team to optimize data pipelines and debug distributed systems.
• Innovation & POCs: Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) for AI experiments, benchmarking results to simplify and automate customer marketing ideas.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3 years in Software Engineering or Data Engineering, with a focus on enabling data-driven solutions.
• Customer Centricity: At least 1 year of experience working directly with customers or marketing teams to deliver technical solutions (Experience with Recommender Systems is a strong plus).
• Data Mastery: Demonstrated ability to perform complex analysis on large datasets within Big Data platforms.
• Technical Stack: Strong programming skills in SQL and Python, Ruby. Experience (or the ability to quickly pick up) PySpark, Scala and any other relevant scripting languages as required
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with global customers and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Agility: A high appetite for learning at a fast pace and the ability to multitask in a startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of modern ML algorithms and cloud computing at scale.
• Direct experience with AWS Data Platforms, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Data Visualization tools to communicate insights.
