Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. Use computer or tablet tools to document observations and communicate clearly with team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access activity and visitor movement in accordance with site requirements, reporting unauthorized access attempts, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
