Sodastream: Procurement Buyer

Overview (English)

At Sodastream, part of PepsiCo, we are looking for a Procurement Buyer to join our Global Direct Procurement team.

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, contract support,

 

and procurement activities across key raw material categories, including plastics, bottles, food raw materials, and other

production materials used across SodaStream operations.

This role plays an important part in ensuring supply continuity, supporting cost optimization initiatives, managing supplier relationships,

and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support business objectives.

 

The position offers an opportunity to work in a global environment while contributing to sourcing projects, supplier development, operational excellence, and sustainable value creation.

Responsibilities (English)

· Manage sourcing and procurement activities for raw material categories, including plastics, bottles, food raw materials.

· Lead sourcing processes, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, supplier selection activities, and commercial negotiations.

· Identify and drive cost-saving, productivity, and value-creation opportunities.

· Support contract development, commercial agreements, supplier onboarding activities, and implementation of sourcing initiatives.

· Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve quality, service, innovation, and cost competitiveness.

· Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and commercial opportunities to support sourcing decisions.

· Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams to align procurement activities with business requirements.

· Support supplier risk management, contingency planning, and business continuity initiatives.

· Participate in global sourcing projects and procurement initiatives.

· Monitor supplier performance through KPIs related to cost, quality, service, and delivery.

· Manage procurement execution activities, including purchase order creation, order management, supplier follow-up, and issue resolution when required.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and governance requirements.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and procurement processes.

Qualifications (English)

· Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field preferred).

· Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, international procurement, and supplier management.

· Experience leading sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and commercial activities.

· Experience supporting contracts, commercial agreements, and supplier relationship management.

· Experience working in a global and/or matrix organization – advantage.

· Experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, raw materials, packaging materials, or related business functions – advantage.

· Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Fluent English, both written and spoken.
