Barista, Library Specialist, Blended Role, The Space
Part-time, 30 hours
Blending Service with Connection and Curiosity
Arapahoe Libraries is seeking a Blended Barista and Library Specialist for The Space, a new community hub offering meeting rooms, a café and select library services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys café work, excels at customer service, and thrives in a warm, cooperative team environment. If you are organized, attentive, proactive, and energized by helping others, you will feel right at home here.
About the Role
This blended position supports both our café and the main concierge desk. When you are working in the café, you will prepare beverages and food items, maintain a clean and safe workspace, manage transactions, and create an inviting experience for every visitor. As The Space continues to evolve, this role will grow and adapt along with it. Candidates should be quick learners who are comfortable with change and bring a calm and positive approach to their work.
When you are scheduled at the concierge desk, you will welcome patrons, assist with meeting room reservations, provide basic technology support, issue or update library cards, and accept materials returns. You will balance multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and maintain grace under pressure. This role is an excellent fit for someone who works hard while keeping a light and friendly presence, enjoys variety, and values a collaborative, ego-free team culture.
