- Support HR data migration and conversion activities, including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and validation between legacy systems and Workday.
- Partner with business and technical teams to define data mapping and conversion requirements and ensure migrated data meets Workday configuration and business requirements.
- Configure and maintain reference letters, employment letters, document templates, and other employee-related Workday documents, including dynamic fields, calculated fields, conditional content, and business process integration.
- Perform mass updates and data corrections using appropriate Workday tools while maintaining strong data quality, integrity, and audit controls.
- Analyze and resolve EIB errors, data discrepancies, validation failures, and other complex Workday data issues.
- Configure and maintain Workday Business Processes, including BP routing, approvals, condition rules, notifications, validations, questionnaires, documents, and Business Process Security Policies.
- Support Workday production issues and serve as a Tier escalation contact for complex Core HCM, Personal Information, EIB, document, and data-related issues.
- Develop and utilize Workday reports and calculated fields to support data validation, reconciliation, migration, troubleshooting, and business requirements.
- Support testing activities, including unit testing, regression testing, data validation, and end-to-end testing for Workday enhancements and data loads.
- Review automatically available functionality delivered through Workday R1/R2 releases, assess business impact, and support regression testing.
- Review and disposition setup-required functionality delivered through Workday releases and coordinate appropriate configuration changes.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, document solutions, and implement scalable system and data improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, IT professionals, functional teams, and end users.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Workday functional experience, preferably supporting Workday Core HCM in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Personal Information and Contact Information configuration and Business Processes.
- Demonstrated experience creating, processing, troubleshooting, and validating Workday EIBs for mass data transactions.
- Strong experience with HR data migration, data conversion, data mapping, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
- Experience configuring and maintaining reference letters, employment letters, document templates, and other Workday-generated documents.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM and the Workday Business Process Framework.
- Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, security, and Business Process Security Policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex configuration, data, EIB, and Business Process issues.
