Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

What You'll Do

As a Back Office Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their visit.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

‎ 

Responsibilities include:

• Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies
• Perform in-office diagnostic testing and treatments, including: EKGs Spirometry Peak flow testing Bone density testing Nebulizer treatments
• Assist Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners during exams and procedures
• Prepare and administer injections and immunizations as ordered
• Monitor patients following injections and vaccinations
• Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients
• Process prescription refill requests according to provider protocols
• Handle patient calls, pharmacy requests, referrals, insurance inquiries, and coordination of care
• Clean and sanitize exam rooms and sterilize instruments according to established protocols

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
• Professional, courteous, and dependable work ethic
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
• Ability to commute to Lakeway, TX

Preferred:

• Experience with Athena EMR
• Primary care or family medicine experience

Compensation Range:

$20.00

to

$30.00

 

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
