Job Description & Summary
Do you want to help organizations through IPOs, carve-outs and finance modernization? Are you looking for a role where you combine financial reporting expertise with process redesign and technology?
In our growing Digital Transformation team, we help organizations navigate complex business transformations where finance, technology, data and regulatory requirements come together. We support clients through major events such as IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs and ERP transformations.
This is what you'll do
You will be part of an inclusive, multidisciplinary team, working alongside finance leaders, accounting specialists, ERP experts, software providers and technology teams to build finance functions that are ready for growth, regulation and new technology.
In this role, you help finance teams work smarter and report more reliably by improving their processes, technology and use of data. You translate complex reporting, regulatory and business requirements into practical processes, controls and technology solutions. You facilitate workshops, prepare analyses and develop recommendations for finance and transformation stakeholders. You work closely with business, finance and technology teams to deliver sustainable transformation outcomes. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting finance transformation programs related to IFRS changes, IPO readiness, carve-outs, M&A transactions and reporting modernization;
- Designing and optimizing end-to-end finance, consolidation, reporting and disclosure processes, and assessing and improving governance, controls and data flows;
- Translating business and reporting requirements into functional requirements and supporting implementations of platforms such as Workiva, LucaNet and ERP-based reporting solutions;
- Supporting clients with digital reporting requirements, including XBRL-based reporting (e.g. ESEF, SBR) and disclosure management;
- Analyzing financial and reporting data (e.g. using Excel, SQL or Power BI) to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, with a well-documented audit trail.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine finance, reporting, process improvement and digital transformation.
You recognize yourself in this
You are analytical, curious and energized by solving complex business challenges. You enjoy working at the intersection of finance, reporting and technology, and you have a feel for how data flows through finance and reporting systems. You communicate clearly with stakeholders, work well in multidisciplinary teams and take ownership.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting advisory, audit, finance transformation, ERP implementations or digital transformation projects;
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Management or a related field;
- Knowledge of financial reporting (e.g. IFRS, Dutch GAAP and/or US GAAP), ideally combined with an understanding of finance processes and internal controls;
- Experience with, or a strong affinity for, digital and data, for example data analysis, process automation and the use of AI in finance and reporting;
- Fluency in both English and Dutch.
Experience with ERP/EPM systems such as SAP, XBRL/ESEF/SBR reporting, disclosure management tools like Workiva, or supporting IPOs, carve-outs and M&A is a strong advantage. The same goes for exposure to data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Python, Databricks or MS Fabric, and to automation or AI-enabled finance solutions.
