Costing Engineer

Who are we?

Frencken Mechatronics is involved in the development and assembly of industrial systems or the semiconductor industry, the healthcare market, and a wide range of analytical applications. The high-quality precision mechanical parts, machine assemblies, and vacuum systems are assembled in both clean room and non-clean room environments. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.

• Prepare, review and release 2D drawings with drafting details in accordance to manufacturing requirements.
• Support 3D design or modeling activities with consideration for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and process feasibility.
• Perform costing analysis, material sourcing, and supplier coordination to support project and production requirements.
• Assist in ad-hoc engineering assignments, cross-functional activities, and operational support tasks as required.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide practical problem-solving solutions to achieve objectives and manufacturing readiness.
• Coordinate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives, requirements and deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support project development and manufacturing activities.

Education:

• Min. Diploma 3 - 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering field (Semiconductor/Aerospace/Automotive) Including but not limited to:
• 1 - 2 years of experience in manufacturing (Precision machining/etc) and tertiary processes (Treatment/etc)
• 1 - 2 years of experience in quality (Internal/ Supplier/ Customer Quality)

Working Skills & Attitude:

• Require comprehending and interpret technical drawings • Requires an individual with an innovative and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Require individual to be proficient in CAD/CAM or alike technical application software's
• Demonstrates accountability and reliability by following commitments, aligning actions with intention
• Good communication skills to effectively deliver clear and concise message in a professional manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
