Seeking an intern (E-Waste/Environmental Engineering) to work on product environmental analysis on existing products for a duration of 9-12 months. The intern will contribute to Life-Cycle Analysis of IB/NPI products, and Environmental impacts with support from global engineering team for GEHC Invasive Cariology products. Environmental Conscious Design (ECD) is evolving from a “good to have” to a business need and this assignment will support in attaining ECD goals for ICAR business.

Summary:
This position will be responsible for implementing various initiatives to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment. This role will involve working closely with cross functional teams such as supply chain, procurement, engineering, facilities management, etc. The intern will also be involved in projects related to waste reduction, energy conservation, water conservation, sustainability reporting, etc. This position will provide exposure to different aspects of environmental management systems and sustainability reporting.

Responsibilities:
1. Baselining and reporting greenhouse gas emissions for product, including carbon footprint.
2. Developing and maintaining environmental management system documentation.
3. Supporting sustainability reporting activities.
4. Identifying opportunities for waste reduction and resource conservation.
5. Collaborating with cross functional teams to implement sustainable practices.
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of environmental policies and procedures.


Qualifications:
MPhil / MTech / E-Waste,  Material Science engineering or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
