Local & Indirect Purchasing Supervisor

Yardex is looking for a Local & Indirect Purchasing Supervisor to join our team in our Ain Sokhna Factory. We are seeking a highly motivated Local & Indirect Purchasing Supervisor to join our team on a priority basis. This role is critical to supporting operational requirements, enhancing supplier management practices, improving sourcing effectiveness, and driving sustainable cost-saving initiatives across indirect and local procurement activities

The ideal candidate has a combination of leadership skills, product knowledge, industry savvy and prior experience overseeing the daily workflow, budget, and schedules of the purchasing department.

Responsibilities: 

• Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, and secure reliable sources of supply.

• Contract Management: Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and value creation.

• Cost Optimization: Achieve measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver procurement solutions.

• Process Improvement: Enhance procurement processes using ERP systems and analytical tools.

• Operational Support: Ensure timely and efficient procurement of indirect and local materials/services.
  
   

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred with 6-7 years of proven work experience

• Strong background in contract management and commercial negotiations.

• Proven track record in achieving cost savings and procurement value creation.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  
  Transportation is provided from meeting points - Cairo residents are preferred.
