Overview
This management role serves as the technical lead for data center engineering operations at one or more facilities, directly supervising facility and data center engineers. You'll review, approve, and implement SOPs/MOPs/EOPs for the site while ensuring proper training of procedures. Responsibilities include oversight of general facility operations, coordination with remote hands, security, and janitorial teams. The position requires extensive experience with data center mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including UPS, emergency generation, fire alarm/suppression, and monitoring systems. You'll coordinate all planned and emergency maintenance events, ensuring reliability of critical loads while achieving maximum availability through operational strategies.
