As a Customer Care Worker at our Schwartz Men's Shelter in Wards Island, NY, you'll meet client needs and promote participation in services leading to independent living. Your responsibilities include overseeing client participation in daily activities, protecting client rights, ensuring adherence to program rules, escorting clients to appointments, managing bed assignments, distributing supplies, accepting new clients into the electronic records system, providing customer service for meals and essentials, conducting rounds to safeguard clients and property, providing emergency response including first aid and CPR, completing incident reports, and driving agency vehicles for client transport. This is a 24/7 operation requiring flexibility and dedication to serving vulnerable populations.
