This is a full-time position with benefits.Responsibilities of Surgical AssistantPrepare the operatory and equipment Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment room Prepare the patient for surgery or examinationMaintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patientsRecord treatment information in the patient's chartAssist the doctor by passing instruments, aspirating intra‑oral fluids, taking photographsTake radiographs as directed by the doctorProvide post-operative care to patients as directed by doctor Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfortMaintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements of Surgical AssistantCPR & first aid certificateValid X-ray certificateSustained positivity and energy throughout the dayCommunicates clearly with patients and all team membersAttention to detailProfessionalismCompensation and Benefits Wage: $22-32 per hour DOE90-Day Review and wage assessment, with potential of increase32-34 hour work week Health Insurance Benefit at 30 days, all other benefits eligible after 90-day probation40 hours Vacation (Accrued Annually) doubles at year 3 of service.5 days sick pay per year5 paid holidaysMedical, Vision, and Dental available401K Employer contributionWe think that all patients deserve to experience a better life by having their mouth restored to ideal health.
