Solutions Architecture - Advisor IITITLE: Solutions Architecture - Advisor II
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support business initiatives. Create and optimize APIs. Manage application specific infrastructure decisions. Represent the application team in design strategy with Database and Architecture teams. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving application development experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years working in Java, C, C#, and C++; 4 years working with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security; 4 years working in Microservices architecture; 4 years designing RESTful APIs; 4 years working in JPA and Hibernate; 3 years working in SQL databases; 3 years optimizing SQL queries embedded in JAVA code for optimal performance; 3 years working with data structures; 3 years working with databases thread and session management; 3 years working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; 3 years executing industry standard vulnerability scans and corresponding vulnerability resolution implementation; 3 years identifying and mitigating OWASP vulnerabilities in a JAVA based application; 3 years of branch and pipeline management; 3 years working with Agile methodologies; 3 years working in Scrum and Kanban; 3 years managing and prioritizing backlogs; 3 years breaking down requirements to create hours or points estimates within the Agile framework; and 2 years working with message brokers including Kafka and IBMMQ.
