Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Electrical trade experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of NEC codes and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.
  • Welding experience is highly recommended.
  • Previous experience working with motors, pumps, and rotating equipment is an asset.
  • Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting using schematics and blueprints.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
  • Strong written communication skills, including report writing, business correspondence, and development of standard work procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Passion for sustainability, environmental responsibility, and building a safer, more reliable operation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing (over 80% of the shift) and lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to complete required respiratory fit testing and medical evaluation and work a full shift while wearing required PPE, including full-face respirators, SCBA or supplied-air systems, Tyvek suits, and PAPRs, as required for the role
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing ladders and stairs
  • Ability to operate and perform maintenance on equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other specialized machinery

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in manufacturing and operational environments both indoors and outdoors
  • Frequent exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and other industrial conditions typical of production environments
  • Occasional work at heights or in elevated areas
  • Occasional operation of industrial equipment such as forklifts, box trucks, or other material-handling machinery
