Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and response activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
