Reporting directly to the Head of site Engineering & Maintenance, as a leader for Sanofi, you will play an integral role within the Product Supply Unit management team, ensuring reliable supply of syringe and Vial products to our patients globally. The Product Supply APU consists of Device Inspection, assembly, label & pack and Vial inspection, label & pack.

Main responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the applicable Engineering, Maintenance, and Off-line teams, including Deviation Management, Continuous Improvement activities, and delivery of capital projects.
- Build team structures and problem-solving processes to ensure Engineering capability in issue resolution in support of manufacturing operational targets.
- Lead and support ongoing continuous improvement projects across manufacturing assets and operations.
- Support the engineering components of NPI activities, including the transfer of new products to site.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with department team leaders and team members, with a strong emphasis on employee development.
- Encourage team and individual innovation, with a strong emphasis on personal responsibility and accountability.
- Manage departmental spending, accurately forecast function cost centre spend, and identify opportunities to improve spend performance.
- Support operational performance through participation in the site’s operational value stream leadership teams.
- Ensure cGMP compliance across all maintenance activities and systems, including regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and implementation of post-audit findings.
- Play an active leadership role in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance and actively support initiatives that promote HSE standards and compliance.
- Contribute strongly to site Engineering leadership forums and projects to ensure consistency of approach across the site.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering Projects teams to support the delivery of timely, high-quality capital projects across the site, including identifying and implementing area capital projects.
- Provide strong management and oversight of equipment vendors and maintenance contractors.
About You
- Third-level degree qualification or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in an Engineering and Maintenance management role, preferably within Inspection and/or Packaging operations.
- Significant experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing technologies.
- Detailed knowledge of cGMP requirements and standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in delivering production equipment projects and programs.
- Effective facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence site KPIs and operational performance.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and legal requirements to ensure the safe operation of the team.

The salary range for this position is :€84 000,00 - €112 000Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
