Role summary:The (USA) Case Manager I, Claims Management, is responsible for managing a caseload of low-complexity general liability claims. This role involves reviewing claim reports, verifying documentation accuracy, and ensuring timely claim progression in compliance with state regulations. The position requires effective communication with claimants and internal partners, negotiation of settlements within authority limits, and identification of potential fraud indicators. The Case Manager supports business objectives by maintaining accurate records, meeting performance goals, and fostering collaborative relationships while upholding company policies and ethical standards.

What you'll do:
- Review initial claim reports to gather facts and evidence in compliance with state statutes to determine compensability or negligence.
- Manage an active caseload of low-complexity general liability claims, ensuring timely progression and resolution.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of claim documentation to support adjudication and maintain accurate financial reserves within authority limits.
- Approve reasonable medical treatments and settlements within guidelines, escalating complex claims as needed.
- Communicate professionally with claimants and partners, providing clear guidance and support throughout the claims process.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud or early assessment concerns to leadership.
- Document all claim activities accurately to support reporting and audits.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in case management and claims processing within general liability contexts.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, claims investigations, and claims resolution techniques.
- Ability to review and verify claim documentation for accuracy and compliance with state-specific statutes.
- Effective negotiation skills to resolve claims and issue settlements within authority limits.
- Valid adjuster license and understanding of liability insurance principles.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to support claimants and internal partners.
- Commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance and ethical standards in all claim activities.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
