About This Position

The Account Staff performs functions necessary to support the Accounting Department. Perform a combination of routine functions including counting, entering, opening, sorting, and routing invoices from operating companies and vendors. Utilize a combination of equipment and systems to perform these tasks.

 

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Receive invoices and check requests
• Sort and review invoices and check request for proper account codes and payment terms
• Process purchase journals and check requests for payment
• Assist with month and year-end closes
• Respond to internal inquiries or report requests
• Perform expense reimbursement
• Assist with monthly reconciliations
• Analyze and reconcile accounts
• File accounting related correspondence
• Other projects as assigned

What You'll Need

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 + years experience in accounting.
• Accustomed to a fast paced environment.
• High volume A/P experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Great Plains, AS400, SAP, Oracle and other systems experience is helpful.
