IT Software QA Automation Co-op

Job Summary
As an IT Software QA Automation Co-op, you will support testing of in-house applications and help modernize QA processes. You will create and execute test cases, document results, and build AI-driven testing capabilities using LLMs and agentic frameworks. You’ll test functionality and UI, ensure robust server-side logic and smooth front-end integration, and contribute to advancing our AI tool to improve automation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate applications against functional and non-functional requirements, using LLMs to generate and maintain AI-driven test cases and scripts
- Build and test features for our in-house AI QA tool, including agentic orchestration and anomaly detection
- Participate in Agile/Scrum standups, sharing concise updates on testing progress and AI tool development
- Research emerging QA technologies, deliver innovative solutions, and handle ad hoc QA requests
- Collaborate closely with developers and teammates to meet defined goals and deadlines
Key Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Experience with QA, testing, or AI development tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face) is an asset
- Familiarity with LLMs and agentic AI for testing workflows, with enthusiasm for contributing to their development
- Strong understanding of SDLC, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills to collaborate in a team setting
