Welcome to Eastern Trenchless Ltd., Atlantic Canada's premier trenchless construction contractor. We utilize cutting-edge specialty equipment to minimize disruptive dig-and-replace methods that are common in the industry. Our expertise lies in UV light Cured in Place (CIPP) lining, encompassing lateral, spot repair, and mainline lining. Our core focus is on municipal/provincial sanitary sewer and storm pipe relining, employing diverse techniques and technologies. We also extend our services to residential and industrial lining solutions for gravity and pressure pipes, accompanied by robotic and manual repair, inspection, and cleaning services. We are authorized installers and partners for Channeline, CentriPipe, Permaform, and Primus Line.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise multiple crews, ensuring seamless coordination of services provided.
Assist project team as needed to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of each project, including both hands-on work and project coordination efforts.
Foster collaboration within the team to optimize pipeline maintenance operations. This includes taking the lead in Confined Space Entries, developing Traffic Control Plans, and conducting Toolbox Safety Talks.
Establish relations with management and supervisors to implement and enhance the COR Health and Safety Program.
Conduct thorough site audits to monitor and document the performance of staff and subcontractors.
Maintain records and logs of safety-related equipment, encompassing winches, tripods, gas detectors, radios, and harnesses.
Play a crucial role in data-driven decision-making by offering insights into pipeline conditions, potential issues, and maintenance requirements.
Uphold rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures, effectively mitigating risks and cultivating a secure working environment.
Exercise oversight in the efficient deployment of manpower and equipment, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
Monitor project timelines and ensure work is completed within schedule.
Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources effectively and manage project budgets.
Prepare and submit reports on project progress, safety performance, and any incidents.
Engage actively in continuous training and skill development to remain current with industry trends and advancements in technology.
Qualifications and Requirements:
3+ years' experience in Pipeline Inspection Maintenance, Rehabilitation industry, or related field (prefered).
Sound knowledge of municipal engineering, construction, maintenance operations.
Technologist or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical or a related field (prefered)
Experience in flow by-pass planning, permitting and implementation is an asset.
Plumbing and electrical experience is an asset.
Safety certificates are an asset.
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in confined spaces and physically demanding environments.
Attention to detail and precision in performing tasks.
Commitment to safety, adhering to all corporate Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering effective teamwork.
Willingness to undergo further training and certification as required.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious, maintaining a strong work ethic.

Adaptability to multitasking in a diverse work environment.
License (Preferred)
NASSCO PACP Certification (Preferred)
Class 5 driver’s license or greater (Preferred)
Able to provide a clean driver's abstract.
