Associate Director-Project/Program Mgmt
Overall Purpose: Responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget through effective resource coordination and adherence to industry-standard methodologies.
Job Contribution: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates. Supervisor: Yes
In addition to overseeing operational execution supporting the CARE organization, this role provides strategic leadership for complex transformation initiatives that drive customer experience improvements, operational efficiency, workforce modernization, and business performance outcomes. The position is responsible for translating enterprise objectives into executable programs, leveraging operational strategy, business intelligence, AI-enabled solutions, and cross-functional partnerships to deliver measurable results and sustainable organizational change.
Additional Responsibilities
• Operational Strategy and Business Performance: Develop and execute business strategies that drive measurable improvements in customer experience, productivity, financial performance, operational efficiency, and resource utilization through data-driven decision making and cross-functional leadership.
• AI and Automation Enablement: Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation capabilities, and emerging technologies that improve operational effectiveness, support workforce transformation, reduce manual effort, and enable new ways of working across CARE functions.
• Business Intelligence and Operational Insights: Lead business intelligence, analytics, and reporting initiatives that provide actionable insights into operational performance, customer behavior, workforce effectiveness, and strategic opportunities. Establish measurement frameworks and governance processes that support executive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Enablement and Integration: Lead CARE organization planning, readiness, and execution activities supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships. Partner across Operations, Technology, Product, Network, Legal, Compliance, Workforce Management, and other stakeholders to assess operational impacts, develop integration strategies, execute transition plans, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless customer and employee experiences throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of proven people management experience. 10+ years of related corporate experience is required.
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
