The Medical Surgical Orthopedic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury, and medical-surgical conditions. Guided by UHS values of Trust, Compassion, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation, the Med Surg Ortho LPN supports patients through all phases of care, with a focus on mobility, pain management, safety, and recovery.

Primary Department, Division, or Unit:

M6 Med-Surg Orthopedics, UHS Binghamton General Hospital

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience

• Minimum Required:
  • Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• Preferred:
  • Experience working in critical care or hospital environment

License/Certification

• Minimum Required:
  • Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit
• Preferred:
  • Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
