BACKGROUND: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION: Are you seeking a position as a Direct Support Professional: If you want to begin a career in this exciting and rewarding field, then we have the position for you! We are looking for someone who is proficient in America Sign Language to work with, train, and supervise an adult with a disability.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Increased technical skills related to field of work.
- Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/ First Aid Certification.
- Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.

- Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test.
- Article IX and PROUD certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance (for some sites).
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday-40hours/week.
