Client Service Coordinator
Location: Lufkin / Diboll, Texas
Pay Range: $50,000 - $55,000 Annual Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus Potential
Type: Full-Time, In Person (Monday-Friday)

Position Overview - 6 Degrees Wealth in Lufkin, Texas is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to support the day-to-day client service, administrative, and operational needs of a high-performing advisory team. This role sits at the intersection of client experience, advisor support, and practice operations, and is designed for someone who is smart, personable, service-minded, emotionally mature, highly collaborative, and eager to build a long-term career in wealth management.
Prior wealth management experience is not required. The team is more focused on finding the right long-term teammate in the Lufkin market: someone who communicates warmly, learns quickly, follows through consistently, handles confidential information with care, and enjoys supporting both clients and teammates. You will help ensure clients receive a seamless, professional, and responsive service experience while learning the wealth management business through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to client service, account maintenance, documentation, meeting preparation, CRM updates, and routine service requests.
Your Role & Responsibilities
You will support client service, advisor needs, daily administrative workflows, and team coordination, including but not limited to:
Client Service & Relationship Support
· Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for routine client inquiries
· Assist clients with basic service needs, required forms, scheduling requests, and account-related updates
· Support onboarding by gathering documentation, preparing account materials, and coordinating next steps
· Help ensure service items are handled accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with firm procedures
· Communicate with professionalism, discretion, and a client-first mindset
· Collaborate with advisors, custodians, and internal team members to resolve outstanding items
Account Maintenance & Administrative Operations
· Support account opening, account maintenance, transfers, deposits, distributions, beneficiary updates, address changes, and related service requests
· Prepare and review client forms, custodial paperwork, and service-related documentation for completeness and accuracy
· Monitor pending items and coordinate next steps with clients, advisors, custodians, and internal departments
· Maintain accurate client records, files, notes, and documentation across firm systems
· Contribute to workflows that reduce errors, improve efficiency, and keep service items moving forward
· Follow firm policies, compliance expectations, and documentation standards when handling client information and account activity
Advisor & Practice Support
· Provide administrative and operational assistance to advisors and client service team members
· Prepare client meeting materials, including agendas, reports, forms, and follow-up items
· Update client information in CRM, custodial platforms, and internal systems
· Assist with scheduling, inbox organization, task tracking, meeting follow-through, and document collection as needed
· Coordinate communication across advisors, clients, custodians, and internal departments
· Participate in special projects, team initiatives, and process improvement efforts as assigned
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
· 0-2 years of experience in client service, administrative support, hospitality, banking, education, healthcare administration, nonprofit/community service, professional services, or a similar relationship-driven environment
· No prior wealth management experience required; this role is designed for someone who is coachable and willing to learn the business over time
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, client-facing presence
· High attention to detail when handling forms, records, documentation, and client information
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and service items in a fast-paced setting
· Professional judgment, discretion, and comfort working with confidential information
· Organized, collaborative, and able to work closely with advisors, operations teams, custodians, and clients
· Willingness to learn wealth management terminology, account processes, compliance expectations, and firm systems through training and hands-on experience
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and basic document management tools
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in business, finance, communications, economics, public affairs, or a related field
· Prior internship, part-time role, or work experience in banking, hospitality, customer service, professional services, office administration, nonprofit/community service, or another people-focused setting
· Experience in a high-touch, detail-oriented, or relationship-driven client environment
· Familiarity with account opening, onboarding, document collection, scheduling, or service-request workflows
