At Fox Rent A Car, our Wash Attendant Leads help keep our fleet clean, safe, and ready for the next customer. You'll coordinate daily vehicle-cleaning operations, perform quality checks, communicate with multiple departments, and help keep vehicles moving efficiently through the cleaning and ready-line process.
Your Primary Focus Is To
- Coordinate daily activities with the Manager on Duty and department management
- Oversee the vehicle cleaning team and ensure vehicles meet Fox quality standards
- Perform quality-control inspections and spot checks on vehicles throughout the shift
- Track vehicle cleaning, fueling, fluids, and servicing requirements
- Coordinate lot setup and ensure vehicles are classified and parked in the correct stalls
- Communicate vehicle status with Counter Leads, Manager on Duty, Fleet Production, and Operations teams
- Identify and communicate out-of-service and non-rentable vehicles
- Organize and maintain the Pre-Clean Car Area (PCCA), wash bay, fuel line, and ready line
- Coordinate vehicle movement from the overflow lot to the PCCA and ready line as needed
- Fuel vehicles as needed and ensure keys are properly tagged and delivered to the key booth
- Run and post the reservation manifest by vehicle class and time
- Complete vehicle quality-assurance audits for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance
- Complete incident and accident reports accurately and submit them to the Manager on Duty before the end of the shift
- Coordinate with Return Agents to ensure vehicles are moved into cleaning production promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized wash bay, PCCA, and ready-line area
- Support the team and assist with operational needs throughout the day
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Previous rental car experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

This role is non-exempt and pays $20.29 an hour.
