Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan Ltd is currently seeking applicants for a Director, Cost Analyst.  

Job Location: 

Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan, Ltd is the headquarter of Diodes Division, one of the world's leading manufacturers of discrete semiconductors--Diodes, Rectifiers and TVS. We are one of the earliest foreign electronic companies established in Taiwan. We provide you with responsible and ethical leadership and encourage open communication with our employees, governmental agencies, suppliers, contractors and industry groups. We are located in the heart of Xindian District, New Taipei City, where the public transportation and living functions are quite convenient, just 10 minutes walking distance from Qizhang MRT Station and Yulong City Mall. 

What you will be doing: 

- Sales Monitoring & Analysis:

• Track and analyze sales development, support and coordinate the sales forecast
•  Monitor and Review sales reserves

- Inventory Monitoring & Control:

• Monitor inventory levels and valuation for raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods
• Inventory forecast and reconciliation

- Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
• Support internal and external audits related to location and division controlling

- Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Support the preparation of forecasts / budgets and longer-term strategic financial plans for the Diodes division
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with divisional goal
• Comprehensive analysis on logistics cost, subcon spending and headcount development

-Business partnership

• Support the system design / changes for new business / flows

What you will bring along: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA, CMA, MBA strongly preferred
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on cost accounting experience in a semiconductor company
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office and SAP
• Business acumen and strategic thinking, Solid analytical and financial modeling skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
