This position reports to:
Service Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power electronic equipment in accordance with ABB standards and procedures. You will perform inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment, while maintaining accurate records of all activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of power electronic equipment in accordance with ABB standards and procedures
- Performing inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment
- Collaborating with R&D and production teams to identify and address technical issues promptly
- Maintaining accurate records of all activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory

Qualifications for the role
- Qualification as an electrician or equivalent technical qualification is desirable
- You have previous experience in a technical role, preferably in equipment maintenance or repair
- You possess a basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems and can read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- You are committed to safety compliance and regulatory standards, and actively adhere to company policies and procedures
- You have good communication skills and work effectively in a team environment
- You show willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
