Job Purpose
This is a stretching and varied role, which blends business partnering skills with strategic HR projects. The role is designed to build and develop strategic HRBP capabilities, working to unlock talent, design and implement transformation programs, embed new and future WoW.
Job Responsibilities
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
Driving the mood and morale of the people through engagement interventions. Ensuring the governance of HR KPI’s and building the actions plans around to ensure improvements.
Lead key cyclical people processes – the total End of Year process including Annual Pay Review and performance management including people development forums, goal setting and calibration where necessary.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Maintain a grip of key workforce data metrics and data quality, through simplified processes
Support the talent agenda including pipelining internally and externally, preparing and running high-quality talent forums using relevant data and insights
Generate meaningful data insights across various sources/platforms and pro-actively identify HR solutions to business problems, supporting business leads to further their agenda and deliver priority interventions
Extend support on the Capability and ER Agenda across PTAB for Foods sites
Leading the Capability plans of the site with the plans defined through the TNA’s and competence evaluations
Building relationship with unions & facilitating business/process improvements through union discussions
Addressing employee grievances & ensuring that the engagement levels of employees are high with full motivation
Leading in a seamless manner the outsourcing at site and ensuring zero non-compliance with law or Unilever’s Global Labour Standards
Managing relationship with contractual staff and service providers. Creating a smooth interface between management & CBA to implement business thrusts on time
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Education & Experience
5-7 years of work experience.
Experience in ER preferred
Skills
Excellent communication skills and team working ability at all levels.
Relevant experience in a managerial role in a high-volume manufacturing or similar environment (FMCG).
Effective interpersonal skills and organizational awareness
