We're looking for a Residential Construction Foreman who can lead field crews, coordinate day-to-day jobsite activities, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Pinemar's standards.
What You'll Do
Working closely with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent, you'll take an active leadership role in daily field execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Execute daily work plans in alignment with project schedules, drawings, specifications, and company standards
- Lead and direct company field staff, assign tasks, monitor progress, and set expectations for workmanship, professionalism, and safety
- Provide day-to-day field leadership, monitor work progress, and ensure crews have the direction and resources needed to keep projects moving
- Coordinate day-to-day activities with subcontractors and trade partners
- Confirm material availability, tool readiness, and site logistics
- Communicate daily progress, challenges, and project needs to the Superintendent
- Help maintain project schedules through proactive planning and execution
- Inspect work in progress and completed work for quality and accuracy
- Identify deficiencies early and help ensure corrective action is taken to prevent rework
- Maintain clean, organized, professional, and hazard-free jobsites
- Enforce jobsite safety policies and procedures
- Mentor less-experienced field team members and help develop their skills

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of residential construction experience
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Crew Lead, or similar field leadership role
- Strong understanding of rough and finish carpentry methods and techniques
- Working knowledge of trades involved in custom home construction and renovation
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and details
- Proven ability to lead field crews
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work professionally with clients, subcontractors, architects, designers, and project team members
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a growth mindset
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Reliable vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom residential construction or major renovations
- Experience working alongside Superintendents on complex residential projects
- Basic proficiency with field documentation or digital construction tools
- OSHA 30 training preferred
