We’re looking for a talented Technical Account Lead who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to take accountability for the technical account management of new and existing clients in Brazil, supporting the implementation and ongoing success of our data platforms and software products. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business, collaborate with teams across the globe, and influence some of Brazil’s leading retailers.
Joining our Technical Account Management team, you’ll act as a trusted technical partner to client IT stakeholders and leadership. You’ll lead data discovery and assessment activities to understand client data and systems, ensure data quality, investigate data issues, and use your expertise to shape data roadmaps and technical recommendations. You’ll translate complex concepts into clear explanations and coordinate with client and global internal teams to ensure our data solutions meet requirements and activities are delivered successfully.
This is a hybrid role based in São Paulo, with an expectation of working from our São Paulo office three days per week.
What we expect from you:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- Native Portuguese and professional proficiency in English are required. Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams, with the ability to take ownership of technical account activities, coordinate work across client IT teams and global internal teams, and drive activities through to completion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to translate complex data and technical concepts for technical, commercial, and client audiences.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to query, validate, and investigate data. Python knowledge is also required; PySpark experience is a plus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly in data-processing and cloud-based data environments. Microsoft Azure experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts and ways of working, as well as modern and traditional data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and data-processing concepts.
- Experience applying data-quality frameworks and controls and performing root-cause investigations into data issues.
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and responsible customer-data handling, including LGPD, GDPR, or equivalent privacy frameworks.
- Strong organisation and project-management skills, with a structured, proactive, and ownership-driven approach.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira, Kanban ways of working, and BI or visualisation tools such as Looker or Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Experience in retail, CPG, ecommerce, grocery, pharmacy, loyalty, or customer-data environments is a plus.
- Comfortable collaborating with teams across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
