Description

Please note that this role is based in the United Kingdom. To enable us to meet the statutory and regulatory obligations of the United Kingdom immigration system, you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in the United Kingdom for the duration of the employment.

At Stellify Media, we create bold, headline-grabbing unscripted television. From rebooting global franchises like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? to producing innovative formats such as Titanic Sinks Tonight, we pride ourselves on fresh ideas, creative ambition, and shows that cut through.

We’re looking for a Development Assistant Producer to join our busy development team. You’ll be part of the creative engine — contributing ideas, shaping formats, and helping to bring pitches to life. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in development, work across a variety of projects, and help us craft the next big unscripted hit.

This role is based in our Belfast office and will require you to work on-site.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute fresh, exciting ideas and help shape them into strong formats.
  • Write clear, engaging treatments, one-pagers, and pitch documents.
  • Support the team in creating visual and video materials for pitches.
  • Research talent, trends, and international formats to strengthen development.
  • Play an active role in brainstorms and team discussions.
  • Stay up to date with the UK and international unscripted TV/Streamer landscape.

What you have:

  • A creative, proactive mindset with the confidence to share ideas.
  • A genuine passion for unscripted television/content, from entertainment juggernauts to innovative new concepts.
  • Previous experience in development and/or production within unscripted TV.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong research ability and attention to detail.
  • Editing skills (Premiere or similar) are desirable but not essential.
  • Design skills (Photoshop, Canva, PowerPoint/Keynote) are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience operating a camera is desirable but not essential.

Why join Stellify?

You’ll be part of a collaborative and ambitious team that values originality and drive. We’re passionate about making unforgettable TV and giving our team the space to grow and thrive creatively.

This role is based in our Belfast office and will require you to work on-site. We do support a degree of flexible working, but in-person collaboration with the team is an important part of the job.

If you require any reasonable adjustments with any part of the recruitment process, including the application or interview process, please contact us at [email protected]. Please put Reasonable Adjustment Request in the subject line of the email.

Stellify is committed to equal opportunity in all its employment practices, policies and procedures. No worker or potential worker will therefore receive less favourable treatment due to their race, age, creed, sexual orientation, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, disability, religion, gender, marital status or Trade Union membership (if applicable).
