As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government office location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
