Job Summary
Management, implementation, and maintenance of the Safety Management System (SMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, etc.) at the assigned station.Ensure compliance with Swissport standards and procedures, as well as customer airline requirements, in line with QHSE standards.
Your activities
Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements across all station operations
Deliver daily safety briefings and promote a strong safety culture
Implement, maintain, and constantly improve the Safety Management System (SMS)
Ensure implementation and ongoing compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) at the assigned station
Monitor compliance with labor law regulations, airline customer requirements, and Swissport policies
Prepare and analyze monthly QHSE performance dashboards and KPIs
Coordinate QHSE actions with local station management and ensure effective follow-up
Conduct incident and accident investigations and ensure proper reporting
Promote hazard identification and reporting through SMT
Perform inspections and audits (ramp, passenger handling, flight documentation, GSE, cleaning, coordination) and report findings
Conduct operational risk assessments and report outcomes to the QHSE Line Manager
Issue safety alerts and ensure Read & Sign acknowledgement
Act as the focal point between the station and the QHSE Director and H&S Manager
Raise QHSE awareness among staff and management through briefings and training support
Monitor GSE condition and report any safety-critical defects
Track station KPIs, analyze trends, and propose corrective and preventive actions
Follow up on customer feedback, complaints, and QHSE-related findings
Monitor internal and external audit actions and ensure timely closure
Support proactive QHSE initiatives and projects as required
Your profile
- Minimum Education
(Bac+2) or higher
- Minimum Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in TRC/RAMP services.
