Job Summary

Participates in curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation, as well as instruction and clinical supervision of students according to the program philosophy, organizational structure, objectives and school policies.

What You'll Do

  • Promotes the college's core values and standards of excellence through teamwork, caring, commitment to our mission and values, integrity, respectful communication, maintenance of a safe and professional environment, synergistic partnership with those we serve, and anticipation of students', colleagues', and customers' needs.

  • Participates in curriculum and course planning and implementation that is based on effective pedagogy, accreditation standards, standards of practice within the discipline/profession, best practices and recent research.

  • Implements current traditional and innovative teaching methodologies in accordance with objectives in classroom, clinical and laboratory settings.

  • Participates in the comprehensive evaluation process for courses, students, curriculum and clinical units.

  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining office hours, serving as a resource to colleagues, and advising assigned students.

  • Participates in college activities, committee meetings and student functions.

  • Maintains clinical and professional competence in assigned clinical areas.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist (ABRET) certification and active registration in the pertinent discipline required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required per policy guidelines.

  • 2 years of experience in Neurodiagnostic Technology required.

Preferred

  • Graduation from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program.

  • Prior teaching experience at the college level.
