About This Position

This position is working inside a jail/correctional facility at the Wake County Detention Center. 

 

This position provides administrative, financial, and operational support to the food service management team. Responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and receivable processing, preparing financial spreadsheets and reports, tracking overtime, maintaining attendance records, and managing incoming communications. The role also supports Net Menu system operations by producing and retrieving production packages, monitoring reporting accuracy, and performing data entry and reporting tasks. Additional duties include maintaining safety and compliance information, completing general office functions, providing operational support as needed, and assisting with staffing coverage to help ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

 

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Assist with the posting and collection of receivables and payables for both client billing and accounts payable invoices.
• Assist with the preparation of spread sheets for weekly and monthly financial report outs.
• Daily tracking of Overtime supplying the information to GM & FSD.
• Become proficient in Net Menu. This will include:
  • Producing and retrieving production packages.
  • Monitoring voids in reporting by production team.
  • Data entrée and roll-up as instructed by Management team.
• Complete miscellaneous duties and assignments as directed by Management.
• Maintain safety bulletin board and other information needed by food service team.
• Monitor / Manage all incoming calls and messages.
• Maintaining attendance records.
• General office duties as assigned by Management.
• Fill-in for occasional voids in staffing as assigned by Management.
• Other operational duties as assigned by Management.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.  Must be at least 21 years of age.
