Description
I have a client located in the San Jose CA area that has an opportunity for a Payroll Administrative Assistant
In this role, you will be providing payroll support for a large electrical construction company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll data and perform accurate data entry
- Audit timecards, timesheets, overtime, PTO, and attendance records
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Assist with payroll adjustments, reconciliation, and reporting
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Maintain confidential payroll and employee information
- Support the Payroll team with additional administrative duties as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Someone who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and able to work well with different personalities. The candidate should be comfortable working overtime and handling confidential information.
Systems: Workday, Kronos/UKG, or Oracle Fusion experience is a plus, along with strong Excel skills.
The position is onsite San Jose
6 Month+ contact, that can go contract to direct hire for the right candidate
