Brake Press Operator - 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Job Summary

The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual brake press equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, quality, safety, and productivity while supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Select tooling and adjust machine settings as required.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
• Safely handle materials and finished products.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet production and quality targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of brake press operation experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Experience working with steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
• Experience operating CNC brake press equipment, including Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, Accurpress, or similar machines.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Computer literate and comfortable using production systems.

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Hiring Range: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience, plus a $0.75/hour shift premium.
