We’re looking for an Asset Protection Investigator to provide investigative support and services for our Operations facility in our Frankfurt office and other Collectors locations. 

As the Asset Protection Investigator, you will embody Do The Right Thing by protecting People, Assets, and Brands. You will work in an energized, fast paced environment focused on creating a safe environment for our employees. You’ll need to understand the big picture strategy and work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

This position is expected to work independently, leveraging investigative and intelligence collection skills and building a strong (internal + external) network.

You'll report to the Head of Global Security and Asset Protection and work onsite from our Frankfurt, Germany office with occasional travel. 

What You’ll Do:

• Identify and lead the mitigation of internal loss.
• Conduct investigations focusing on:
  • High value missing/lost product
  • Identifying trends to mitigate the possibilities of internal theft
  • Confirming operational mishaps/errors
  • Leveraging CCTV, handling incident Reporting, completing data Analysis
    
• Carry out company-wide loss prevention investigations, adhering to best practices & procedures. 
• Generating clear and detailed reports & recommendations for countermeasures. Thoroughly document information gathered during investigations to aid in successful prosecution of suspects.
• Developing & presenting procedural improvements utilizing strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Create, maintain, and manage records using company approved methods, proper retention of evidence and disposition of evidence. 
• Collaboration with external stakeholders & local law enforcement - Upon successful completion of investigation, prepare professional case files and refer cases to law enforcement for prosecution. Attend hearings as required and update appropriate files with court-related outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Collectors Security Team to progress investigations to closure. Some travel to other markets may be necessary to perform these job duties at other facilities.
• Work with the Head of Global Asset Protection to proactively identify gaps/areas of improvement with respect to digital security systems (access control, video surveillance, video storage) or physical processes that create exposure to theft.
• Maintain relationships internally with key stakeholders and leadership and externally with Local/State/Federal Law Enforcement.

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of proven professional experience in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection with a preference working in high value retail or manufacturing entities
• Excellent analytical skills and broad experience documenting investigations with the ability to think creatively, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• In depth knowledge of security systems, basic of design concepts and specifications including access control and video monitoring systems (CCTV)
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• A high degree of self-awareness and the ability to work closely with others in a friendly and collegial environment.
• Detailed knowledge of investigative rules & techniques, proper procedure, and chain of custody with a focus on documentation and experience in preparing case documents for referral to local Courts of Law, preferred 
• Experience conducting risk analyses, vulnerability and gap assessments, and physical security surveys and preparing recommendations for leadership & business partners for the elimination of procedural/policy issues that increase theft exposure, preferred 
• Formal educational background in an area of study relevant to this position, preferred 
• Certifications is interview techniques preferred

Pay Transparency Statement: The salary range for this position is €59,300.22 - €78,424.54. Placement within the range is based on objective, gender-neutral factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and scope of responsibility. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or other variable compensation.
