We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and service-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Agents to join our growing Small Business team. This fast-paced, high-volume role supports small business clients with policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, coverage reviews, and carrier interactions. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional service to a large volume of commercial insurance clients.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy servicing needs.
• Review client accounts and identify coverage gaps, exposures, and opportunities for additional protection.
• Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain information, resolve issues, and facilitate policy transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system.
• Prioritize and manage multiple requests, deadlines, and service activities while maintaining high quality standards.
• Support account retention efforts through proactive communication and relationship management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure service standards and client expectations are consistently met.
• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations in a fast-paced servicing environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Maine Property & Casualty License required or ability to obtain licensure within a specified timeframe.
• Prior Commercial Lines insurance experience preferred, particularly servicing small business accounts.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, endorsements, and policy servicing practices.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency when responding to client needs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency with agency management systems, carrier platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
