Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional member service by assisting with transactions, account servicing, lending support, and resolution of member needs in accordance with established service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform branch operational duties, including teller transactions, daily balancing, cash handling, reporting, and other routine branch functions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Originate, process, and close consumer loans in compliance with internal guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Read, interpret, and explain credit bureau reports and lending-related information to members in a clear, professional manner.
• Support branch performance by contributing to the achievement of sales, service, and operational goals.
• Lead, coach, and support staff to foster a high-performing team environment focused on member service excellence and goal attainment.
• Identify opportunities to improve branch sales, service, and operational processes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and member satisfaction.
• Detect and escalate suspicious or fraudulent activity to help prevent losses and protect members and the credit union.
• Maintain strict adherence to security procedures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable compliance standards.
• Protect and promote the interests, reputation, and assets of the credit union at all times, including maintaining NMLS registration and handling safe deposit box access and related member support when applicable.

Requirements

•  3+      years in a financial institution
• 3+      years sales experience (in-person and phone)
• 1+      year of cash handling
