Location: Fremont, OH
Pay: $21.01–$25.42/hour + $0.50/hour night shift premium
Schedule: 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule (days or nights) | Day shift: 6:55 a.m.–7:10 p.m. | Night shift: 6:55 p.m.–7:10 a.m.
Start or grow your manufacturing career with Amcor as a Thermoforming Assistant. You’ll work alongside experienced machine operators, support daily production, and learn the equipment and processes used to create high-quality packaging.
What You’ll Do
- Assist machine operators with equipment setup, operation, and monitoring
- Load raw materials and help keep production running smoothly
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Support machine changeovers, roll splices, and minor adjustments
- Complete production documentation and report equipment or quality issues
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow safety, GMP, food-safety, and operating procedures
- Build hands-on skills that can support continued growth in machine operation
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow work instructions and production schedules
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work in a hot, fast-paced environment
