We are seeking dynamic students to join our Summer Internship Program, offering hands-on experience, professional development, networking opportunities, and mentorship within a corporate finance function supporting an innovative, publicly traded higher education company.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
- Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making.
- Supporting budgeting processes.
- Performing other functions and duties as assigned.
Education
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferably with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.
Skills Required
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, interpret complex information, and make informed decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Understanding of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) and familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail when analyzing data, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to explain financial concepts, present findings, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and propose effective solutions to complex challenges.
- Excel Proficiency: Skilled in data manipulation, creating pivot tables, using formulas and functions, and building financial models.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others, contribute to team goals, and communicate collaboratively.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools, software, and industry trends and adapt to change.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Ethical Judgment: Demonstrates integrity and sound ethical judgment when handling sensitive information.
