DEPARTMENT: Brio Asset Management
REPORTS TO: VP, Asset Management Brio India

Brio is a specialized global commercial real estate asset services platform that manages and supports Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies business (“BREDS”) across the globe. JOB SUMMARY
- Execute asset management strategies to ensure sound management and risk mitigation across the global commercial real estate debt portfolio;
- Oversee the performance of all commercial real estate debt assets including assisting with monitoring loan performance, covenant compliance, capex tracking, IPD waterfall analysis, redemptions, prepayments, disposals, asset-level business plans, lease-up progress, borrower financials, quarterly loan reviews and on-going portfolio management workstreams;
- Produce portfolio-wide analytics to support strategic decision-making and identify emerging trends
- Operate with clear, consistent communication and expectation‑setting across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including Borrowers, Sponsors, syndicate/participant Lenders, Servicers, and other counterparties;
- Coordinating with lenders, borrowers and their respective lawyers in respect to loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other ad hoc requests.
- Provide competent analysis of a portfolio of loans and underlying security on a quarterly basis; including re-underwriting every quarter for internal presentation;
- Respond to requests for portfolio level due diligence and performance updates in a timely manner;
- Work with the Brio AM global team to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and maintain a deep understanding of loan documents, including covenants, terms, and legal requirements;
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and supports effective asset management and risk mitigation.
- Problem solving when issues arise at the loan or portfolio level and proactively identify and report credit risk, market risk, and operational risk within the portfolio, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies with Brio AM team;
- Assist in preparing and present portfolio updates, performance reports, and recommendations to internal stakeholders;
- Participate in onboarding and integration of new technology solutions to enhance portfolio monitoring and analytics;
- Establish best practices, processes, and policies for loan monitoring and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
What you should have:
- 4+ years of experience in asset management, investment management, or financial services;
- Experience working with global or large domestic corporations, and experience in a diverse team, with responsibilities including execution of functions and tasks, improving workflows to enhance collaboration, productivity, and professional growth;
- Advanced degree in finance, business, economics, or related field;
- Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools;
- Exceptional communication abilities, capable of simplifying concepts;
- Proven track record of excellence in processes and workstreams in a scalable, KPI-based environment;
- Strong capabilities in both internal and external relationship management;
- Independent and collaborative working style.
