Strategic Programs and Business Intelligence Manager

Description -

This role leads a multi-disciplinary business operations organization combining Business Intelligence, Third-Party Management, and strategic project management capabilities. The leader is accountable for strengthening execution, improving visibility, and increasing organizational impact across GSB Customer Success by translating business priorities into measurable outcomes. The role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing data-driven insight, operational discipline, vendor governance, and cross-business program execution to support customer experience, financial performance, and strategic transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team of 8 exempt individual contributors: project managers, analysts, and vendor management specialists supporting complex business operations and service functions.

  • Act as a key advisor to senior management on business operations strategy, execution priorities, data readiness, operational performance, vendor strategy, and transformation plans.

  • Own the integrated roadmap for Business Intelligence, Third-Party Management, and strategic PMO activities, ensuring priorities are aligned with GSB Customer Success objectives.

  • Drive cross-business and cross-regional initiatives from definition through execution, including governance, scope alignment, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and benefits tracking.

  • Improve operational visibility by defining, standardizing, and maintaining executive-level dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, analytical frameworks, and reporting processes.

  • Lead third-party management strategy, including vendor governance, SOW and PO discipline, contract renewal readiness, performance management, cost optimization, compliance support, and sustainable supplier practices.

  • Promote a data-centric operating model by enabling consistent definitions, improving data quality, strengthening back-end processes, and supporting adoption of Power BI, automation, AI, and related productivity tools.

  • Support customer experience and business performance improvements by connecting operational metrics, customer insights, process gaps, and project execution plans.

  • Provide consulting support to internal stakeholders to simplify process flows, clarify decision rights, reduce waste, and improve operational effectiveness.

  • Build organizational capability through talent management, coaching, career development, prioritization discipline, and development of future-ready skills across the team.


Education & Experience Recommended:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Ideally 10+ years of job-related experience or 8 to 10 years of management experience in business operations, business intelligence, project/program management, vendor management, finance operations, or related fields.

  • Experience working across regions and functions in a complex matrix organization.

  • Experience leading teams through organizational change, operating model evolution, or transformation programs.


Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar

  • Business intelligence, analytics, data governance, or Power BI certification preferred.
