Let’s Start with the Role
We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Greece and specifically our offices in Athens. This is a great opportunity for professionals who aspire to advance their career in Accounting by enhancing financial and accounting efficiency within our scaling organization.
As an Accountant, you will:
- Help with daily operations of the HQ; Deliver everyday accounting tasks
- Analyze and evaluate monthly financial results to ensure timely and accurate reporting according to the Group policies;
- Coordinate the annual financial audit, preparing all information needed
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders, including tax, accounts payable and treasury teams;
- Deliver ad hoc requests and participate in special projects when requested;
- Support and optimize the existing ERP system, gathering and processing data to generate comprehensive financial reports;
What you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other relevant field of Finance;
- A Master's degree in accounting or finance or ACCA/ACA qualification will be considered as a plus;
- 2-4 years of combined financial reporting/accounting within a corporate international environment.
- Experience with formal audit processes;
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and particularly Excel;
- Good knowledge of IFRS standards;
- Previous experience in Microsoft Business Central will be considered as an asset;
- Highly analytical, detail oriented and proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions;
- Fluency in English (both oral and written);
- Strong organizational, planning, quantitative and problem-solving skills; and creative mindset;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment, meeting tight deadlines.
