About the Role:
As Senior Editor for the U.S. export and global LPG market, you will be an important member of the Spots price reporting team across North America and Europe. You will engage with market contacts and sources to produce price assessments, analytics, and news for daily publication. You will also be a strong networker with a mindset for content creation and attention to detail. You will report to the North American Editorial Lead for LPG.
You Will:
Gather and verify market price data and transactions from traders, brokers, and exchanges
Publish accurate daily price assessments and market commentary adhering to IOSCO principles
Develop and maintain a network of market sources
Contribute to methodology development and updates as markets evolve
Work closely with the global team in the Americas, Europe, and Asia
Track and analyze export flows and shipping
Identify and explain trends in supply, demand, and pricing dynamics
Contribute to analytical reports, dashboards, and newsletters
Write clear, concise market reports, news stories, and analytical pieces
Participate in editorial meetings and collaborate with other reporters and analysts
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and webinars
Complete end-of-day operations for daily report publishing
You Have:
Minimum of three years’ reporting experience in commodities reporting, financial journalism, or environmental markets (preferred)
Strong communication, writing, and networking skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of market dynamics, price drivers, and price reporting functions in the energy and/or shipping industry (a strong advantage)
Ability to build relationships with market sources
Proficiency in Excel, market data platforms, and digital publishing tools
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Energy, Journalism, related discipline -OR- equivalent work experience
Additional language proficiency will be beneficial (but not essential)

Base Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000
